okay, so in the meantime i suppose i'll use this time to ramble. . .
- all that driving wednesday night and thursday morning was definitely worth it. i got to see emmo for the first time in. . .hmm. . .two and a half months? sheesh. plus, she showed my parents and me around the stanford campus, which is reallllly pretty. a lot of green, and the buildings (especially the quad!!!) are really nicely designed.
- speaking of wednesday: ugh, choosing the science olympiad team was uncool. every time i pick a team or some other select group of individuals, something comes back to bite me in the butt. in any case, if anything goes wrong THIS time, i'll just blame rui. xP mwahahaha. but yeah, congrats to kunal, kim, dahlia, young-wook, and jon. all of you guys definitely deserved to make it, and the entire board thought so too. the juniors we don't know so well - so we'll have to see. ><
- okay, so we cruised into irvine thursday night. . .and i chatted till 12. how did i see that coming. LOL. had a really deep meaningful convo with jeNn tho, that was refreshing. friday morning, rise and shine, work my butt off to finish the damn penn state application. ok you guys, check this out - i chose to do it online, and i hadn't gone to the online app in a month or so on tuesday. . .so i opened it up, and OH MY GOSH THE DEADLINE IS NOVEMBER 30. =.= to make matters worse, i can't find the major i'm supposed to pick (the six-year medical program thingy), so i have to wait for an e-mail response, and so i really don't get a chance to start my application until friday. . .somehow, i managed to get that done though, and so i cruised on to apple valley in the afternoon - i drove!! mwahaha, that sucked because i had to drive through the rain and my dad FELL ASLEEP and so i was driving all alone on the 91 in rainy conditions and bumper-to-bumper traffic AND I WAS FALLING ASLEEP. ugh, not fun. oh! i had a nice convo with ely in the morning too - talked about thanksgiving, and the future - and good books =D.
- the rest of friday was full of. . .kids. T_T;; my cousins (whose house we stayed at wednesday night) went to las vegas while we went to palo alto, so friday night they stayed at our house in apple valley. not only does my uncle have a 9-year-old daughter and a 3-year-old son, but they traveled with their friends, who ALSO have a 8-9ish year old daughter and a 3-year-old son. needless to say, i had err. . .fun entertaining them. meanwhile, i actually got off my increasingly large buttocks and did some MUN work, which is a good thing - mira costa conference is next weekend and I HAVEN'T EVEN STARTED SIGNUPS. w00t.
- saturday morning, i continue to be a yu-gi-oh slave (yes, please laugh at me, i'm pathetic; i know this already) and so i entertain my cousins some more until 10:00, where we all sit and gloss over the tv screen. anywho, they left around noon, and i'm waiting for steve to come over now so we can chill. this is turning out to be a mighty nice thanksgiving, full of friends. ^_^
- last thing. . .what else to do for today. . .need to write an e-mail to adreeta, who i've been meaning to write to for like a MONTH now and still haven't. i'm such a bad friend/penpal. also need to write to my uci professor, who might think i'm AWOL or KIA or something by now. . .homework: english NONE! polisci NONE! spanish NONE! stats NONE! physics LAAAABB ARRRRRGH - oh well, i'll do it tomorrow night when i actually have graphical analysis to work with. OH! need to hang out with anya, promised her i'd do that this weekend. and my mom's birthday is december 6th - and i still haven't gotten her anything. if my dad and i want to keep the privilege of coming to apple valley, i think we'd better put our heads together real soon. putting our wallets together wouldn't be a bad idea either - after tustin and homecoming and PAYING MY DAD RENT FOR THE CABLE, i'm flat broke. *ugh* steve's here, tho. i'm out!

well, it only took me over three years, but i've finally decided to start my own blog. and i might actually try to post on it daily. MIGHT. key word. yes. now, pardon me while i ditch this stupid layout. . .i haven't designed a webpage layout in the longest time. lovely. help meeee people!
